Fatherhood, Faith, and Football

There are two reasons why I feel successful as a father. First, because two years ago, I had the privilege of baptizing my eldest daughter, Nindita — a sacred, unforgettable moment. And second… without any persuasion from me, she chose to become a Goonerette — a female fan of Arsenal, my beloved football club. To me, that’s a sign of deep love and solidarity. After all, children tend to follow what they’ve caught, not just what they’re taught. COYG! (Come On You Gunners!)
