It's delivered as the opening remark in my church's Christmas Celebration (originally in Indonesian):
"Christmas is the time to remember, there was a time in the history of mankind when the people who walked in darkness have seen a great light, those who lived in a land of shadows, the light was shining on them."
"Christmas is the time to remember, that the Creator has become the creation to be the ransom for the freedom of sin of the world."
"Christmas is the time to remember and to cry out once again the groaning of all creation of the longing for the coming of Emamnuel, A God who has promised to never leave us nor forsake us."
(and followed by the choir "O Come O Come Emmanuel")
