Battles and Blessings
Life as a believer is a journey between battles and blessings.
We are not promised a path without pain, nor a life without grace. We are promised His presence in both.
As the apostle Paul wrote:
"We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed."—2 Corinthians 4:8–9
Battles don’t always mean we’ve failed or strayed. Sometimes, they are the very ground where God is building our faith, deepening our roots, and preparing us for greater things. He is with us in the pressure, the confusion, the silence. And His purpose will not fail.
Blessings, too, are not always rewards for righteousness. They are gifts—pure grace—given not to elevate us, but to flow through us. We are blessed not to boast, but to bless.
So whether you find yourself in a season of battle or a season of blessing, may your heart remain anchored in this truth:
God is present.
God is working.
And God is enough.
